The Mrs. Hughes Ranch is an authentic Madison Valley homestead ranch nestled privately in the Tobacco Root Mtns West of McAllister, MT.
This historic ranch was homesteaded in the 1880’s and has been owned by the same family for six generations. Several tributaries of South Meadow Creek flow through the ranch with water rights dating back to 1887 allowing for irrigated pastures supporting a small cattle operation. There is year around access and end of the road privacy at its headquarters w/ modest improvements and livestock corrals. Of the 1,483± deeded acres, 1,362± are contiguous in one block and bordered by ranches encumbered by conservation easements to the south, east, and west.
